What are the advantages and disadvantages of integrating technology into the classroom ?
There are many
technologies are being used in this life. Teachers also use technology in the
classroom to help them in education to use modern methods. Also, it is
necessary for the development of skill, and students who need to improve their
knowledge. This essay will examine the advantages and drawbacks.
There are many
benefits to using technology in the classroom. Distinctive Technology tool for
teachers allows them to do their job more efficiently. For example, explain the
lesson to fit with student's when they have problems in understanding, so the
teacher will change the way of the explanation to make it easier for the
student to understand. The second benefit is that the student is preparing for
the future; as a result, the student learns how to communicate and cooperate in
their careers also how to use modern techniques. (Edinson, 2011)
There are many
drawbacks to using technology in the classroom. One drawback is that the loss
of time. For instance, teachers will be lost half the time in the technology
because of the connectivity issues, and will not be integrating technology
quickly. The second drawback is the lack of attention to the presence of
students of modern technologies. For example, the student will use it for
another purpose, such as, play and watch movies while the teacher explains the
lesson and will not pay attention to the lesson. (Analysis of Integration of Technology in the Classroom, 2015)
In the end, there
are more advantages than disadvantages of using technology, and I think these
defects can be solved. We should care about a study and forget those drawback
because education is more important than drawbacks.
